NewsMember Care Line If you have an emergency that the staff should know about outside of regular church hours, please call 1-800-380-3703. Someone will take your name and number, then contact the staff person on call. UPWARD Basketball & Cheerleading UPWARD games will begin in January but evaluations are beginning in November. Everyone in the community is welcome to play and cheer for Upward. Evaluations are as follows: K5-2nd grade Monday, November 7th; 3rd-4th grade Tuesday, November 8th; 5th-6th grade Friday, November 11th; 7th-8th grade Thursday, November 17th; K5-8th grade Friday November 18th. All evaluations will be held between 6-8pm. Registration per child is $55 which includes a jersey for basketball or uniform for cheerleading. Basketball shorts & cheerleading turtleneck shirts are optional at a cost of $12 each. Contact Joe Miller at 934-9716 if you can help. Servants Needed
Nursery: We have a great need to fill some open slots in our Nursery Ministry. You have a unique opportunity to reach little children along with their parents. Please remember that Operation Care is an ongoing ministry of all the churches in our community. We continue to accept donations for them any time. If you have any food donations, you may bring them to the donation box located in the copier room at the church or you may take them directly to Operation Care in Williamston. Suggested donations are: soups, pasta, spaghetti sauce, macaroni and cheese, rice, dried beans, cereals, jellies, canned fruits, grits, jell-o, juices, crackers, canned vegetables, canned meats, mayonaise, applesauce, peanut butter, mustard, ketchup, flour, sugar, cornmeal, oil, laundry detergent, soap, shampoo and paper products such as paper plates, tissue paper and paper towels. In advance, thank you for helping this very worthwhile ministry.
